Meet Jeffrey E. Kashner, DDS, MSD Education and Experience!Dr. Kashner studied Chemical Engineering in the honors program at the University of Delaware and Delaware State University. After he achieved his degree, he then continued his education at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and the Dental School at the University of Maryland where he graduated at the top of his class, Suma Cum Laude. After dental school Dr. Kashner realized that his passion for patients lay in the field of orthodontics and he began to peruse that avenue of dentistry. With orthodontics being a highly specialized field of dentistry, and the University of Washington Orthodontic program having one of the ranked programs in the nation, Dr. Kashner was honored to be chosen to attend the graduate program at this prestigious university. He also received a master's degree in the Science of Dentistry from the University of Washington. After many years of rigorous training and experience from coast to coast, he is able to provide the best possible orthodontic care for the Kent, Covington, and Maple Valley areas! Giving Back and Staying Involved!With Dr. Kashner's commitment to provide the best possible care for his patients, he is continuously taking continuing education courses. Dr. Kashner is an active and upstanding member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the Washington State Society of Orthodontists. Currently, he holds the position of Public Relations Chair for the WSSO. Over the years he has earned many honors such as The Children Merit Award from American Society of Dentistry and the University Gold Medal for Scholarship and Certificate of Merit. He is also a part of the Children with Special Healthcare Needs SW Washington Maxillofacial Team and two Orthodontic Study Clubs. Family LifeDr. Kashner comes from a large family and he enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, skiing, hiking and wildlife photography.
